Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocolsEnsure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging processPrepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concernsOperate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanlinessEvaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as neededCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic informationMaintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standardsParticipate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education activities
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related fieldARRT certification in Radiography and CTProficiency in operating CT equipment and related softwareStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentCommitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacyWillingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
